S275JR Pipe

The S275JR EN 10025 Steel Hot Finished Square Pipe is a low carbon grade structural steel. This grade of high tensile strength structural S275JR RHS and Hot Finished Circular Hollow Section steel is one that could be readily welded to other weldable steel grades as well. In fact, the S275JR Box Section steel pipes could be welded at lower heat as they could be welded at a lower temperature setting as well.  Since the low carbon grade EN 10025 S275JR Steel Pipe has good machining properties and as manufacturers we find it easier to provide finish work not only at the edges but also on the surface of these S275JR Hollow Section steel pipe. Because the S275JR Pipe is known to be a low carbon equivalent steel grade, these pipes possess good cold-forming properties. And if required by our buyers across several industries, the En 10025 Din 17100 S275JR RHS steel pipes could be supplied either in a normalized condition or in a controlled rolling condition.

The S275JR Steel Box Hollow Sections is a grade of pipe, wherein the minimum yield strength is approximately around 275 N/mm². Our clients use the S275JR Pipe grade widely in key sectors such as the engineering as well as construction industries. The Jr in Grade S275JR EN 10025 CHS steel pipe indicates that the material used in its manufacture has been subject to a Longitudinal Charpy V-notch. This Longitudinal Charpy V-notch, when performed on the En 10025-2 S275JR RHS has an impact rate of about 27 Joules at a temperature of about 20 °C.
