Started by founder Mr. Aslam Anwar in 1974, AKOPIN RUBBER INDUSTRIES humble beginnings as a Rubber Factory in the Industrial City of Kanpur (Also known as the Manchester of the East) in North of India, catering to the Shoe manufacturers in the city and other states of the country as well as the Indian Ordinance factory. 42 years since its inception and having established itself as a pioneer in premium quality rubber products AKOPIN Rubber Industries ventured into the design, manufacture and marketing of safety shoes as AKOPIN Leather & Rubber Industries in the year 2000. AKOPIN have come a long way with a fully integrated unit working in collaboration with two technologically advanced leather tanneries to provide its customers safety shoes comparable with the best in the industry.
